300 is a little steep i realise however i put the can am ones on and was thouroghly impressed with this kit they have it right down to the fuel vent line and waterpump weep/vent also very good instructions not sure how the snorkle your atv kit is for the can am but just put one on a rhino and was pretty unimpressed ended up buying other parts anyhow as that kit did not fit very clean the wasy they had it set up. If I were to do my outty 800 again I would spend the$ on the can am stuff

What year is your 650? The engine and belt intake snorkels are easy....buy the lower part for the belt exhaust from BRP (I think it was 20 bucks) then finish the rest yourself.

http://www.can-amtalk.com/forums/topic/23273-xmr-snorkle-installed-on-08-650/

Parts 12, 13, 14 is what I bought...

12 707000789 Adapter
13 707000870 Air Outlet
14 707000984 Reflective Sheet

I'm with Big Dawg on the SYATV snorkels....I did one for the ol Lady's 400 and ended up re-engineering most of it.

The Engine and CVT intake are good on the 11....if you extend the CVT exhaust as in my other post, you'll be good to go.

I took Daves advice and went to Martins and got the Snorkle kit, it is designed for the 11 but if you buy the front CVT intake as well you have everything you need. It is a good kit and it works great. Just DON"T put on the sock for the CVT intake it plugs up and cooks your belt really quickly, learned that expensive lesson last year. I have pictures of the upgrade if you are interested. If you are going to get bigger tires get the clutch kit as well, you are gonna want it.

If it was steam, overheating, boiling antifreeze into the overflow...or blew a hose.... no lights came on? Fan wasn't running? If it was smoke...........bad white smoke usually comes out of the tailpipe.

If you have a faulty or improperly installed rad cap it may release before the system gets hot enough to trip the temp switch. Shouldn't be much steam unless it was cold outside though.
