I'm not sure if I wanna sell this sled or not. It's my spare sled and really don't need it. Id like to know what folks figure is a fair asking price as kijiji is all over the place.
Details
2012 summit x XP etec 163"
Electric start and warranty till 2014
2529km, Simmons gen 1 skis(new), racers edge drop brackets, board stiffeners, grip and rip brace, 2 lead dog plugins, mbrp can, quick clickers, skidoo gas can, few other extras but just normal stuff. Sled runs great and well maintained. Has normal scratches etc for age of it. What's it worth? Thanks

I'll give you 5g right now. But only before anyone else responds with a reasonable offer.

You're as bad as the guy who just offered me $100 for my nitro truck on kijiji that's practically still new and has $400 into it lol

At least I made an offer. I didn't say it was a resonable one

The XM really killed XP resale value, km are a bit higher than most people looking for a used sled like to see, but the warranty is a big plus. I'd say ask $9500.

They seem to be going for the 9-11000 mark from what I can see. I hate selling things right now that are newer. Brand new they are gold. Drive it off the floor and anything seems to be worth half or even a third. I have been told that my street bike I paid 12,000 otd last October is now worth 3-5000. I am just trying to get what I owe on it now.

I would think if someone offered me $9500 for it I would be helping them get it in their truck or trailer.

If I had the cash I would be buying another newish sled. But for the next year we are going hard on paying off debt.

I know the bank has lots. They have given me a pile. But sick and tired of being broke. Decided it is time to have a savings account. And then I can spend my own money instead of using someone else's lol.

Guy at work is looking. I mention this one to him too. I have found a couple for him but he is dealing with a mortgage for a house now too that he has to finish up.

Feels good having no debt and spending your own cash, been doing it for a few years now. My credit cards are purely to keep a credit rating (which to me is a how much you love debt score) you'll find you have more to go around since you're not paying interest... In my books a mortgage is the only exception to this rule that makes any sense.

I get most people cant afford to buy houses cash. But mortgages aren't really good dept to have ither. The only good reason to borrow money IMO is to make more money. And yeah resale on toys isn't great,, so probably shouldn't go buy a street bike/turbo sled ext if yer just goona sell it a year later.
