Interesting, I always have full insurance on my sleds, but have never registered them. I was always under the impression that they only needed to be registered if they were being driven in town limits, or on groomed trails.

I believe if you ride any where other than private land that you have permission to ride on you have to be insured and registered. Meaning Crown Land etc...

yah some cops actually care and try to make guys stay legal. and actually check for papers. personelly never been chaecked. went through a checkstop one time last year at tomahawk. had ins and reg for my jeep. no papers of any kind for the 2 sleds or the trailer they were on. he said ah thats ok just try to keep it with you from now on. see ya later. maybe i look honest, i don't think so, but he should of checked and made me provide proof of ownership regardless of how honest i look and how much of a inconvienence it would have been for me as it was my fault i didn't have it anyways.

I can only wish that someone would steel my 07 Ski doo. There is a 50 spot in the tool box for, burgers, gas or whatever you need. I would not feel violated if they took it! Heres to wishing.:beer: I could not resist a little humour after feeling sad that you lost your stuff. It is a terrible feeling when you have had someone come right into your zone and take your stuff. Hope that you or someone catches them on a bad day. :d:d

thieves are not concerned about registering or insurance they are simply on a joy ride or they are parted out.when they break down they will leave it on the reserve or in the middle of a field.a lot of sleds do end up in bc not because you dont need reg. but because its big organized crime i live up by mier lake so i will keep a look out. bruno

If you are stealing them, Why do you care about dealer service? Just Burn it where it quits and go get another one! They are free and just lying around in trailers and on the back of trucks. Obviously the owners don't need them or they would be sitting on them:rolleyes:
At least that is what they did when they stole some trucks from us

Dogs won't stop much. Just throw in a fresh bone or roast ( you can steal them to!!!) and dog will be busy until you are done shopping and loading up your new toys:rolleyes:

Nothing will stop until Judges ( not cops) take this ch!t a little more serious and at least start making them do community services for long periods of time if not some jail time

were these found in a stream burnt? on google earth there is a bunch of pics of vehicles burnt in fort mcmurry...mainly fords
