Ok well I'll check that tomorrow. As if rightnow I feel like I am have to buy all of my top end gaskets from Kawasaki.

You are definitely in limp mode. There is a quick and easy series of steps to reset it. Coming off your belt cover there is two wiring harnesses. The two prong one is what you are looking for. Under your seat there is a grey and a black harness. I don't remember the exact steps but you just have o cross the plugs. Call your local dealer and ask them the steps or type in "how to reset brute force belt light" on google and you should find step by directions.
