Upstream of the Hunter Valley road? Government markers 515 to 531?
yep!!!!! easist way to get there is go staright north from cochrane on highway 22. go past cremona about 5 minutes to the Burnt Timber Road. take that all the way to the gas plant, where the gravel road begins. follow that out to the bridge, about mile marker 12 i believe. great place to launch from, right by the little red deer river!!!!

Wow am I confused. The Little Red Deer River is not near the Burnt. Do you mean the Fallen Timber? I think what you described was the Harold Creek Road - if so, then there are no legal trails that connect with the Fallen or Burnt. Do you have the Waiparous/Ghost Map?

It has all the numbered government markers - that would help me connect with what you are describing. Thanks.

Or was what you described the Stud Creek Road that leads to the Fallen Timber Creek - with the bridge being at marker 325 on the Ghost Map. Is so, there is no way to legally ride from there to the North Burnt Timber Creek - you would need to use the public roads (Benjamin Creek and Hunter Valley) which cannot be ridden on with offroad plates. I see you live in Cremona, so I'm certain you know the area, but I don't quite understand your directions. Thanks.
