Need head redone in Airdrie/Calgary area?

Lets try this (did not get much response in the Brands forum)

Replaced head gaskets on 07 m1000 account of anitfreeze leaking into the PTO side cylinder and as I was tightening things up I thougth I should have checked the head to see if it had warped. Well got it together and after sitting in the garage for a week I started it up and you can still smell the antifreeze. So I need to know where in the Calgary or Airdrie area I can get the head redone?

Whats wrong with the head.. Its it out of wack like warped or just f'ed

well I am assuming it is just warped. I am going to run it first before I tear it apart again to ensure the smell is not antifreeze from before. I have not had a chance to run it long enough to see if it is still creating pressure in the bottle or using any, hopefully if I get another ride in here shortly then I should be able to tell. I was just asking if there was a spot around that could have it trued up.

Might still be some in the bellypan, cylinder pockets, case pockets, pipe etc etc. I would get it hot and try to burn it off, then see if its still leaking. Could just be some residual somewhere.

If you want to check the head yourself you can. Just put the head on a piece of glass and see if you can slid a .001" - .002" feeler blade under the head all around. If you can't your good.
