What a horse ch!t end to a race today. Austin Dillon who probably had the fastest car chit the bed on the restart and Joey Logano ran away from him so on the last set of corners he just drove into the corner and drilled the 22 car and put him in the fence. Then as Hamlin got by him he hooked him as well and put him in the fence as well. So he won and thanked god and all that crap but I guess if you just wreck everybody to get to the finish line then you get the win.

Here’s how it shook out. Not sure how Hamlin got 2nd? Guess NASCAR felt sorry for him as multiple cars beat him to the finish line. IMG_7169.png IMG_7170.png IMG_7171.png IMG_7172.png

Saw a video last night. Looks like Logano going to be fined for doing a burnout in Dillon's pit stall with people in it. The comments seemed to be 50/50 on what Dillon did to win.

Oh I missed the burnout. Haha. Right on! And yes lots of haters of Logano and Hamlin are going to think it was right. I think whether you like the driver or not if you’re a real fan of the sport there is no love for intentionally wrecking someone to win. Dillon justified it because God gave him the strength to win and PaPa said he was proud. News flash Austin….god has bigger fish to fry than giving you strength to drive a race car.

Lots of talk on the controversial finish at Richmond Sunday night. Polls, bloggers talking, insiders talking and fans talking. Seems to be about 50-50 on what people thought. Sounds like Logano will get fined, Dillon’s spotter will get fined and Dillon will get off Scot free. Should know tomorrow as penalties are to be announced tomorrow.

NASCAR released penalties for Sunday nights controversial finish at Richmond.

Austin Dillon retains his win but loses his playoff eligibility and is docked 25 owner and driver points putting him back to 31st in the standings.

Dillons spotter is suspended for 3 races after audio was recorded of him telling Dillon to wreck Logano.

Joey Logano was fined $50,000 for his actions on pit road after he did a burnout in Dillons pit stall with spectators on the pit lane road including Dillons wife and baby.

Looks like NASCAR has finally defined what crossing the line was. They said they used audio, in car camera footage and SMT in car data to come to their conclusions

Race postponed for rain after the completion of stage 1. Will resume tomorrow at 11 am EST. I’m assuming TSN will pick up the remainder.
