They got the race in today under light cloud and sunshine. Congrats to Joey Logano winning in overtime after dominating big time today. Edsel Ford hosted all the Ford drivers Friday night and told them this was Fords biggest race as Dearborn is home to the Ford manufacturing plant. Here were the top 10 cars today: 22-1-19-41-18-2-4-6-12-88

Final practice saw the manufacturers for the most part drafting together as shown by the practice results. However there was one black sheep. William Byron was running with a pack of Fords when Brad Keselowski got a run on him and dropped down to pass him when Byron dropped low as well to block. Basically the same thing he did to Brad at Daytona last winter that forced Brad to lift and cause a huge wreck after he was run over by the field and caused a huge wreck. Except...….Brad didn't lift this time and pushed Byron out of the way and Byron did some great driving to save the car. Brad was approached after by media and he didn't mince words stating he isn't lifting anymore. He said that last winter and he proved it today. Keselowski has been wrecked 4 outa the last 5 restrictor plate races because of blocking and stupid moves which unfortunately is how you have to race these type of races. Should be a fun 400 Saturday night! Here was final practice results: 19-11-20-95-36-96-14-43-8-13. Qualifying goes tomorrow.

Crazy Xfinity race last night after long rain delay. If the Cup cars do as much banging and crashing it should be an interesting race.

Surprise winner today at Daytona. They made it just into the final stage today when the big one hit and took out most of the Ford team and multiple big names. After cleaning up the mess and carnage they gave the 1 to go signal and a lot of cars came down pit road for tires except some of the back markers and after multiple lightning alerts and finally a pounding rain they called the race and Justin Haley, an Xfinity driver steering the 77 car today won the race. It was only his 3rd Monster Cup start and he is your winner. Here were the top 10 cars remaining: 77-24-48-13-6-32-10-95-36-1
