Post-qualifying tech dealt a Saturday shake-up to the starting lineup for Sunday‘s Gander Outdoors 400 after the cars driven by the five of the top six qualifiers — including the initial front row of Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch — failed inspection at Pocono Raceway.

A total of 13 cars failed the inspection process

Pot really got stirred up worse than a hot clutch on a sled.

Here is the starting line up.
Watch for the big guns to fight to get back up front.

Or maybe Kyle should just park his car.

Original line up before inspection

4 18 19 42 22 24 11 20 2 1

After Inspection here it is

19 11 20 2 1 9 41 78 31 88

Update by substandard substitute

Great race today at the Glen with Chase Elliott and Martin Truex dueling it out in the final laps. Congrats to Chase on his first win and Hendrick Motorsports on their 250th win in the series as Truex ran out of gas coming to the finish line and Elliott running out on his cool down lap! Classy move for 7 time Champ Jimmie Johnson pushing Chase back to victory lane. Heres your top 10 finishers: 9-78-18-19-20-42-1-24-41-4

Here is your updated Chase standings: 18-4-78-14-9-22-20-3-41-2-42-11-12-10-48-88. Stenhouse is now out 62 points and needs a win now with only a few regular season races to go.

it was a good race on sunday, happy to see Chase finally win one after all those 2nd place finishes. What did you think of the way they called the race? a real take off on how MRN calls the race and even had the Bag man there too - i enjoyed it. It was cool seeing the slow mo of those cars getting airborne when hitting the curbs.

I enjoyed the race commentary as well. Bagman did a great job. Need the Godfather Moody on there as well!

Nascar's chairman and CEO Brian France in hot water. He was pulled over the other night for DUI and possession of a controlled substance. The substance was Oxycontin. He has released a statement saying he is sorry and will be stepping away from the sport for an undetermined time. His uncle Jim France will assume his duties on an interim basis. This comes at a time when Nascar is seeing smaller crowds and is currently looking for a new national sponsor for the top series with Monster leaving at the end of the year.

i guess he has to attend a substance abuse program approved by NASCAR before being able to be re-instated???? How can this man have any credibility after this?? I always thought Mike Helton was the really the face of NASCAR anyways.
