If I was a conspiracy theorist I could argue Busch just punted Truex to not only take out a major Chase competitor but also keep Harvick a lap down giving Kes the lucky dog?

That was a great race tonight with lots of different leaders. Congrats to Kurt Busch bringing the blue oval to victory lane with his 6th career win at Bristol. Here was the top 10: 41-42-9-22-20-14-12-88-48-4

Kevin Harvick actually came out smelling like a rose tonight with Kyle taking out Truex and then Kyle getting wrecked late in the top 5. Here is the updated Chase Standings with 2 to go in the regular season: 4-18-78-14-22-9-41-20-3-2-42-11-10-48-88. Keselowski and Larson are locked in on points now. Stenhouse is 79 back in the 17 spot.

Anybody watching the Xfinity race tomorrow at Road America? Awesome Bill from Dawsonville is coming out of retirement to race in it and will have his son Chase spotting for him. Also buddy Ryan Blaney will be there spotting as well for his father Dave Blaney. Its retro weekend in Nascar!

Qualifying results from Darlington: 11-42-78-88-18-31-20-22-41-24. Should be another good race tomorrow. Very tough track and all the cars have retro paint schemes.

What a great race tonight. Kyle Larsen absolutely dominated the race but his pit crew couldn't get him out 1st with 24 to go and Keselowski with control on the restart was able to drive away for the win. Logano made it a 1-2 Penske sweep passing Larsen late to get 2nd. Here were the top 10 finishers: 2-22-42-4-9-41-18-20-1-11

Breaking News! Furniture Row racing will be shutting down its NASCAR operation after this season. This leaves current champ Martin Truex and crew chief Cole Pearn out of a job next year. No reason why at this time.

Interesting conversation on Sirius satellite radio with Moody today. Apparently there was a rift between JGR and Furniture Row. This became apparent when Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin were whining about the 78 car out running them all the time. They feel the 78 team was not feeding notes to JGR that would explain why they were faster than them. Coach Gibbs decided to raise the franchise price for technology sharing dramatically causing Furniture Row owner Barney Visser to pull the pin because of the high cost of racing with these added costs. So Gibbs will inherit the 78 team without a fight. Pretty dirty pool. Its rumored Toyota is tossing in some moola to ensure Truex stays in a Toyota. If you can't beat them run them out of business. Beware of people carrying bibles.
