Jimmy was lucky he got out again in the first session to make the top 24. Young guns in front of him were not giving him a break after the first session was red flagged.

Chad had manipulated the A post they said Val. I think that was his 4th time through the laser inspection station. Logano and Busch went through 3 times. Boys are pushing it. Chad to
much.

Crazy crazy finish for the championship!! Late restart wreck as Edwards who had the championship
in the bag probably blocks Logano and gets wrecked causing a
multi car pileup. Classy move as he went to Logano's pit
after and apologized for the wreck. Race was red flagged and Jimmie wins his 7th!

Lucky is better than good as Johnson had the worst car of the 4 contenders today. Logano finished 2nd of the contenders with Busch and Edwards 3rd and 4th. That's a wrap!

Joey must have hurt something in that wreck, him and Johnson were nose to tail for a bit then Johnson just drove away. He said Chad made a couple of good adjustments, but Joey just flat out couldnt keep up at the end.

I felt bad for Carl, kinda wanted him to win although I was happy Joey fell back, didnt want him to win.

Great finish today... exciting for Homestead. I was sure hoping Harvick would pull off a win in his last run for Chevrolet. Nice to hear all of the 'thanks' and good Tony stories today too.

It's official Trollcat. Greg Biffle and Roush part ways. Citing lack
of a competitive car and no
sponsor for next year the 2 have decided to go there own ways. Rumours now have Chris Buescher moving to a second car at JTG which could leave the Biff out of the sport.

WTF, I must be getting old I thought the Sprint contract still had a lot of life left in it. Think about how fast the cars will be next year with the Monster decals on them though!

Rumor's are surfacing that Dodge may be returning to Nascar's premier series again soon. Pulling themselves from the brink of bankruptcy they now are in a better position to fund a racing program once again. It won't happen for 2017 but could happen as early as the following year it has been learned.

H Scott Motorsports has sold its charter and has disbanded its race team citing financial woes. They were part of a high profile lawsuit with driver Clint Bowyer this year as they did not keep up with their salary commitments to the driver. They have since settled the claim out of court and Bowyer is set to drive the 14 car next year that Tony Stewart has vacated because of retirement.
