First practice was today at Kentucky boys. JJ was the fastest but Ragan and Biffle looked fast as well. Kenseth was testing the new fuelie engine and clocked in at 17th so being it's a mile and a half and that is where the Fords shine I'm picking the Biff or Kenseth to lay a licking on the field.:eek: I'm sure there are some Chevy and Toyota fans that may disagree?:smilieicon_ford::smiliestirthepot:
i'm wondering how they are going to control the fuelies on the plate race tracks they will have to use smaller motors to make it work right
it the only way I can see it happening

Thats a good question. Probably with the computer I'm guessing? I know the fuelie systems are being supplied by an outside source ( Mclaren I believe) Thats a question for someone smarter than me.:d

It'll be just like the ignition boxes. Nascar will hand them out, and they're tagged and sealed. Knock the power down that way.

Yeah they'll be sealed units from NASCAR and they can easilly "tune" a couple hundred horse power out

It's a multi point coil on plug system with what looks like only 1 coil per cylinder with no back up coils I wonder how that will work?

well the DC will be tough here but I have to go with Brad Keslowski and JJ. Its more or less a shot in the dark since the sprint cup has never been here.

I went to a tractor pull and was kinda wishing I coulda watched it but when the pull got over I heard the DC won.......then I didnt feel so bad about missing it. Although you had to figure one of the cup guys that run alot of nationwide was gonna win since they have been there before

Yeah, this is true, although the Hendricks team had a pretty good showing, they had, what, 3 in the top 10?

Thats why I had to pick JJ for the race, that team seems like it just wakes up and pisses excellence most of the time.

Well its hot and slick in Rowd.......oops! Well its hot and slick in Loudon and its time to pick this weekends winners. Newman and Stewart are on the front row for the race but the elder Douche is also looking very fast and due for a win. I hate to do it but I'm picking the 22 Penzoil car to win with Hamlin placing. Tony seems snakebit this year for some reason. Who you guys going with?:beer:

Stewart was strong in practice and Clint Bowyer seems to like these shorter track, plus they both have dirt track experience so they should preform well if it remains hot and slick. So those are my picks.

(by the way nice Rowd joke!)

So DC won his 100th nascar event today
I'm gonna pick 33 and 42 for tomorrow

I know....... I dont like him either but no matter what, you have to admit the guy can drive. That is quite a feat but people have to remember when petty won all his they didnt have truck series, nationwide, and cup.
Maybe only cup and the equilivent to nationwide at the most, probably more like just cup.

It will be intresting tomorrow, Harvick and DC start right together. After that BS in todays race with nascar warning Harvick about touching the DC we will have to see what happens to them tommorow. After all probabtion is DONE!
