in the late 90's there was a magazine that had an article that rusty glidden (nhra prostock) explained exactly how everyone in pro stock was getting past tech by running the juice. really would like to find that article again.
another article showed daryll alderman and his dodge with a still picture of a huge back fire and scoop fire. that was when wayne county had the "supposed" break in and destroyed all their equipment. that was the end of wayne county and their dodge's.

Saw that. Shocker to say the least. Should have enough money to keep his family in the black for a long time.

Might be a good thing. Shake up Nascar a bit.

Ticket sales must be slow. Got a text from LVMS offering me 20 percent off tickets for February race. Text says buy before December 21 to qualify.
Too cold in Vegas in February for me.

Same here. 1996 Daytona 500. Was a Ford guy all my life and Dale Jarretts win in the Quality Care/Ford Credit 88 car hooked me for life!

I went to Vancouver for 10 years of this. Watched a bit of Nascar during that period. When the race moved to Edmonton it was a disaster. Honestly a real joke how poorly it was managed. So then I really got into Nascar

Molson Indy Vancouver was an annual Champ Car race held in a street circuit near BC Place and running past Science Worldin Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada held in July or August from 1990 to 2004.

I went to a bunch of the Vancouver Indy's in the 90's, loved every one. A few memories, was up in a the concorse in BC Place looking down when I saw the track dude get run over and killed, that was quite a site. I remember meeting Al Unser jr and thinking what a dick he was, met Greg Moore, Paul Tracey and Jaques Villeneuve and they were all good people, my favorite was Michael Andretti, he always seemed to have time for the fans.

It was quite the event, shut down the roads around the stadium and bring in 100,000 plus fans for a race, I believe one race set the record for the most fans at a single event in the history of Canada. Good times.

Big shakeup at Penske. Hope it works out but not liking it I'm gonna admit. Number 2 car's crewchief Paul Wolfe goes to the 22 car, 22 crewchief Todd Gordon goes to the 12 car and 12 car crewchief Jeremy Bullins goes to the 2 car. All pit teams follow their crew chiefs. Brad loses the best pit team at Penske and the best crew chief in my opinion.

In other Penske news Roger has finished the paperwork and is now the proud owner of the Indianapolis Speedway.
