Qualifying is over at Texas and it was a Ford show with the top 5 cars being Fords and 9 of the top 15. Here were the top 10 cars: 4-21-14-22-2-7-78-20-31-41.

Some big names didn't make it through tech and missed qualifying including 3 Hendrick cars. 88-24-42-5 and 3 bottom feeders. JJ qualified 24th so it looks like Hendrick has lost their way a bit early in the season.

Its been 2 weeks and its gonna be even longer with no track action at Bristol today because of persistant rain today. Rain could be an issue all weekend they say. The way I understand it Zal is if they get a practice in before qualifying then the starting line up is determined by the fastest speeds in the first practice. If they can't get a practice in before qualifying then it goes by owner points coming into that race. They never ran a practice until after the determined pole qualifying session thus the line up was based on owners points. Clear as mud. Lol.
