Uh oh the number 2 car failed post race inspection. To low. Penalties this week.,

Penalties announced today by Nascar from the Phoenix weekend.

Number 2 car: Crewchief Paul Wolfe fined $65000 and suspended 3 Monster Cup races for failing measurement guidelines after the race. Brad Keselowski and owner Roger Penske deducted 35 Championship points also.

Number 4 car: Crewchief Rodney Childers fined $25000 and suspended 1 Monster Cup race for failing post race inspection for improper track bar mounts. Kevin Harvick and owner Tony Stewart deducted 10 Championship points also.

A big smozzle for qualifying as a lot of teams couldn't get through the laser inspection station in time to qualify. Joey Logano was one of the big names as well as Jimmie Johnson who had crashed in first practice and had to go to the backup car and couldn't get it through as well. Here were the top 8 in the final round: 42-11-2-78-31-20-4-1-18-19-3-5
