Well it took a year but the family of Kevin Ward Jr. today filed a wrongful death suit against Tony Stewart in court today. They are claiming that Stewart knew Ward was on the track walking towards him in anger and that Tony deliberately tried to scare Ward ,misjudged and ran over him. Be interesting to see how this turns out after the criminal case was basically thrown out. I still think Tony tried to scare the kid after watching the video 30 times in slo-mo. What is everyone elses thoughts?

When I watched the replay, it looked to me like he saw ward at the last second and burped the throttle to kick the ass end to the left to try and avoid him. Probably some ambulance chaser convincing the kids family that they will be able to get millions from Stewart...before his fees of course. Too bad for smoke, it's gotta be messing with his mind

Another wild fuel mileage race today. Congrats to the 22 car as Harvick tried to squeeze him on the last corner and Joey had to thread the needle. Here was the top 10: 22-18-4-20-41-15-2-19-9-48. Kyle Busch is now in the Chase with a 6 pt cushion over Cole Whitt.

Yep another cancer statistic Woody. Lost one of my best friends to cancer today as well. Sure would be nice if they could get a handle on this disease. Killing lots of good people.

Sorry to hear about that. I just lost another good friend a couple months ago as well, it went through him like wild fire, diagnosed with it and then a month and a half later he was gone. Sh itty disease for sure

News out of the race. Both Penske cars had there spoilers confiscated by Nascar before the race after pre race tech. Danica to have a press conference next week with a big announcement. Most likely news of a new sponsor. Hendrick cars are running bad as of late. Jr. says they need to pull up there pants before the Chase. Whats up?
