Richard Petty Motorsports announced they will now stay with Ford after saying they were shopping manufacturers around earlier.

It was keslowski putting on another clinic today in new Hampshire. If that team keeps this up they will be tough to beat in the chase

Heres the fast half dozen from the race today in Loudon: 2-18-42-20-31-15. Keselowski wins $307,000 for his time and gives Ford 4 in a row now I believe in the last 4 races.

I did the Rusty Wallace Driving Experience this Saturday in Medicine Hat. Was a balmy 32 down there and probably close to 50 in the race cars. Quite a bit different than the Petty schools where you are in the car by yourself with 3 other students on the track at the same time and a Ride A Long car thrown in for good measure. Lol. You got to pass at the discretion of your spotter and were pretty much free to go as hard as you wanted to. Was a lot of fun and thoroughly drenched after it was over. HaHa.

The track was a 1/3 mile paved oval. They had I would say 2000-2004 NASCAR Nationwide cars with a drop in Chevy crate engine that made around 400 hp I guess. The ride varied depending on how much you wanted to spend. We did a 3 lap ride a long that ended up going an extra 3 laps thanks to my awesome driver and a 10 lap qualifier driving session. That session was retail $349 but got it on Groupon for $171. My ride a long was $3.20 after my Groupon coupon and regular $59. You could buy insurance for your driving session for $60. Worst case scenario if you were at fault was $1000 and $15000 if you had no insurance. That was a no brainer for sure. Lol. They had no electronic timing at the track so no idea how fast we were going out there but it was considerably slower than the pro driver doing the ride a longs. Our spotter said we were probably his fastest group of the day as a whole but then maybe he says that to every group out there. Lol. They do a 45 minute information school before you go out to answer all your questions and let you know how to get the most out of the experience and the staff was awesome! Lots of women doing the drive and rides as well. They will up sell you into more laps, plaques and in car vids as well as T shirts and hats. Bought a plaque for $51 that is really quite nice with a pic of you and the car before you go out for your laps.

They are coming back to Medicine Hat in August again and do a track in Ontario as well for the Canadian crowd. Check it out on Rusty Wallace Racing Experience website.

Yes. They will be Back in august. They said they had a really good response.
I did 15 laps and them another 15 because they didn't video tape the grist session for me.

I had a great time too! The engines were a little underpowered as to what I was expecting but man, they sure could hold a line in the corners.

The engines in Petty's cars are all 600 hp. I would assume that Rusty uses those as well on the larger tracks. I felt they were not as strong as well as they could be. I wonder if the Ride A Long cars had the same engines? They were rocking pretty good.
