Michael Waltrip made an interesting comment on Race Hub yesterday. When defending his teams actions about pitting Vickers he remarked on how is that any different than a teammate pulling over for another teammate to give them a bonus point when leading a race? This practice is done all the time. He however did not apologize for Bowyers spin which he said was not intentional even though he was caught on tape after the race saying to Truex that you have great teammates. Hmmmm....

Gordon said yesterday that he was robbed. When Vickers pulled over to pit at the end of the race and lost his laps that allowed Logano to get into the Chase tied with Gordon and winning on the tiebreaker with his win this year. Haven't heard Logano crying yet. Lol.

Am i alone in thinking that what MWR did was an ok thing to do? stuff like this goes on all the time, perhaps on a smaller scale but come on. Isn't taking Truex out of the chase akin to taking a victory away which to my knowledge NASCAR has never been done even when a driver wins with an oversized motor and non approved tires. I am not saying you have to like it but this is big time auto racing.

And it continues.....Nascar is now investigating Penske Motorsports as they may have made a deal with Front Row Motorsports in the late laps to let Logano pass them for a position to get in the Chase. There is radio transcripts that lead Nascar to believe this may have happened. Stay tuned....

I know exactly where you are coming from. two years ago I had brp all sewn up as my sponsor for a cup ride and then they backed out and put all there focus in old balls Rasmussen. they said it was cheaper to buy his arthritis meds than sponsor a cup car!

my ol' black frying pan azzhole made the chase on driving and luck with no team orders. them scanners that nascar uses can be a bit of annoyance to some! I am sure that the teams are working frantically at radio chatter with hidden agendas. maybe they will talking in Russian or Arabic.
