I kinda like the fact that these guys are showing(at the moment) that maybe 4 car teams are not the be all end all of racing.
It may be for Mr. Busch Rhodesie. ESPN and FOX are both reporting today that Kurt has been offered a multi year deal to drive a 4th SHR car starting next year. HAAS automation will be the sponsor. Kinda of a kick in the gonads for Newman who was let go on good terms because Tony couldn't find him a sponsor. This deal was supposedly offered to Busch before Tony's accident so it has been in the works for awhile.

that's kinda bizarre with kurt's rep. he seems to do better when all the team focus is on him. he does not seem to play well with others. jmo.

I never thought I would see the day a Busch would drive for Tony Stewart. Wasn't it that long ago he was calling the 2 of them the shrub and the tree?

Alot of dynamics on that team next year if it happens. Stewart,Harvick and Busch. Lots of pent up anger can resonate from those 3 guys.

Andretti Motorsports and Ganassi Motorsports appear to be both in a race to find a sponsor for JPM next year in Indycar. Who will find one first?

Ty Dillon has been named the driver of the #3 RCR Nationwide car for next year replacing his older brother Austin. This strengthens rumors that Austin will be racing for his grandpa Richard in Sprint Cup next year in the black #3 Chevy which will come out of retirement as RCR owns that number in the Sprint Cup series. No word if he will be replacing the 29 team or moving to a 4th RCR team.

It was announced today that Tony Stewart will not run any races this remaining season. Mark Martin will run all the remaining races for him with the exception of Talladega. Austin Dillon will climb back in the 14 car for that race. SHR is currently in 13 spot in the owners race only 10 points out of 10th.

Tony Stewart said today he will continue racing dirt cars next year when he heals up. Apparently his sponsors are good with that.

I think in his case being a team owner is huge
