although her name was never metioned in the bible, from other documents found that date from that time it is believed that her name was Haykel daughter of Namus.
as for the book burnings if i remember right, dont qoute me on this one yet, the new king ordered that all bibles be burned as he was against any form of organized religion. and if found with said book the punisnment was death.
i can find more info for ya if needed:d

There does not seem to be any passages in the Bible referring to her other than the account beginning in Genesis 7:7 which mentions Noah's wife. His wife is not named in the Bible for certain; however, according to Jewish tradition her name is Naamah. Why Tubal-cain's sister (a daughter of Lamech by his wife Zillah, and sister of Tubal-cain, a descendant of Cain) should be specifically mentioned is unknown. Jewish tradition made her Noah's wife. Her name, meaning "the beautiful" or "the pleasant one," reflects the worldly mind of the Cainites, who looked for beauty rather than for character as the chief attraction in women. Nichol, Francis D., The Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, (Washington, D.C., Review and Herald Publishing Association) 1978.

Both correct in the first line , she was not given a name. There is mention of 3 different names, another strange fact that in the 3 places the name was never the same.

religion is the CAUSE of 99% of all wars :realmad: think how many lives would have been saved if there was no religion OR better yet just one.

The way i look at it is i believe what im gonna believe; your gonna believe what your gonna believe(so on and so forth). as long as you don't try to cram it down my throut i dont mind what you believe, it doesn't bother me. Theres nothing i hate more then a bunch of jahovas witness banging on my door preaching there opinion.
I get a kick out of the people from asia comming to my home going on about christyanity (i am a anglician) corect me if im wrong but what happend to the religion they(asions) believed in. some christian must have cramed it down their thout when they moved to canada. pretty bad someone moves to canada and the first person they meet is some religious nut at there door talking about religion. most of them haven't learned (or never will) our language but boy they know our religion.

when i want to hear about religion i'll go to church. which is one day a year and thats on the day jesus was born.

rant over for now

ummm this country was founded on christianity!..........

just sayin.....

no it was not the first religion in canada. the first religion was that of the native people. our ansestors came here and cramed our beliefes down the natives throughts. and when they didn't accept it our ansestors killed the native people, segridated them, and made them live on reserves.

i will not get into my true opinion of natives as a people just that i will state that i do have a few native friends
