That would be a neat perspective! I think I saw your buddy one evening this summer when I was walking my dog on the trails south of the forestry museum....

Yup that's Daryl. We took our grand daughter camping that weekend at Lions Park and Daryl flew over that evening.

There was a guy flying around the deep SE part of the city this summer. Saw him several times in the evening.

Cool! Looked pretty neat, and I noticed he seemed to be flying over quite a bit while I was near the campground. I though maybe he was trying to bomb me with some water balloons or something!

My first two attempts the wing got messed up. Getting control of the wing and taking off is the hardest part of learning to fly these contraptions. Once in the air and landing is easy. You can get a back pack (foot launcher) rigged up for about 7-8 G's. My cart has a 4 stroke (one of the lightest in the world) and was 15.5 G's. This includes wing and all. Training about 2 more G's. If the weather is good you can be flying in 4-7 days. They make two seaters. My instructor has one and will take you up for an introductory flight. Legally in Canada you have to have an instructors rating or the other person has to have an ultralight licenses as well to fly double. I can post more info about the instructor if you like.
