Hey there motorheads just wondering if my bike that blew up on its first alberta ride shouldve been rejetted from kamloops to edmonton. Maybe it was just time for it to go but its just odd to me maybe it doesnt like alberta air lol.

It shouldn't need to be jetted. We ride from 2200 ft to 7600 ft in the same day. 4 strokes are a lot more forgiving to jetting than 2 strokes. My guess is it was just time for it to go. They are a race motor and hurt themselves on a regular basis. High rpm, lightweight parts like the piston etc. I've rebuilt a quite a few of those motors at the shop here.

Thanks for the info im guessing the same thing ill just need to get some parts ordered should me ridin next weekend.
