I brought the sled home last week. I already have looked at the sagging rear suspension. Interested in the spring deletion kit from APP. Will be buying a can from Neils Power Pipes. I will be tweaking the primary clutch. Engine mods for next season.

I would be careful about the mods from APP. Problems with wrong spark plugs when it came home and then I changed them. Rode the sled 4 times and booooom engine top end gone again. Hmmmmmmmmm

Pic's finally up. I was looking at the fox float w/reservoir. Removing the rear springs. I get the engine work done at MOT's. They built my engine on my old sled. That 6 foot snap on box looks small next to the sled.

that float conversion is a good idea. it works well. also ditch the stock muffler like you mentioned. awesome sled!

I was thinking of doing the convertion on my old '04 summit. Only concern is the strength of the shock. Iam 220 and carry fuel and rope to tow rknight home. hahaha:d

Yeah. I towed Ron and Trenis Baer. My little '04 800 144 towed 900lbs. Apex and Trenis. He ran out of propane at Km6 on the trail down from Renshaw. To the upper parking lot with out spinning out. What a party afterwords. Mountain Mania 2:beer::beer::beer:

Yep, I have been reading that section for a few weeks to get some ideas. Thanks for the all of the updates and the research to all of the '09 DOO riders.
