I got to thinking the other day of my first sled, I got this from a old farmer when I was 12, now just so we are clear I am 29 now. Anyway I found a picture online and thought I would show you what I had.

Its a HUS SKI 444, I also had a HUS SKI 200. What a change compared to my 2010 XP.

I sold the pair when I was 17 for 1600. I hear they go for 3000-4000 if they are restored, mine were no where near close, they ran great, but I custom made most of the replacement parts from old combines.

I have a buddy that has two of them. One is a 64 and one is a 66. The early one had ont seen the light of day since the mid 70's. Cool to ride on a packed area. (For about 10 minutes)

HA! Thats funny chit...a polaris guy with a sense of humor

Cool lookin' machine. Never seen one of those before.

If you ride an 800 Polaris, you have to have a sense of humor.:p
Grandpa had a sled like that in a grainery, but it was mostly home made.

Your first sled looks way faster than my first sled, I wonder what the drag coefficient of your windshield was

the wind sheilds on the everest's suck. first they dont offer any protection to your face from wind. and when your in deeper snow and standing up it blows the snow straight in your face. they were pretty fast. topped mine out at 95 mph.
