If you bought Tesla stock at the beginning of this thread (Dec21, 2018) you would be up 1808%.

If you held on to it. Most people don't have that kind of patience though.

So with these ev's i guess you wouldnt need to heat them up?

Just get in, crank the heat and it starts blowing hot air?

That might be kinda nice on a cold day...

I believe it's called "rapid-heat supplemental heater". Oh wait, that's in my Superduty. Lol

Go on my phone and crank the heat 5 min before I leave. It takes probably 1min for the air to get hot. My car now has a heat pump which is more efficient. My old car had resistive heating and it got hot very fast but used more power to heat.

Maybe Lord Elon is not as smart as we thought? Just watched a Global News story while having my coffee and a lady was explaining to the reporter how a self driving Tesla drove into her car in a parking lot. The owner who was there was trying the new Summon feature on his App. So you can get the car to unpark itself and come to you within a specific distance of 200ft I believe they said. So apparently this Summon feature is BETA which means it’s still in development. They showed other Teslas on this feature driving into curbs and getting confused in parking lots and not knowing where to go. How does Tesla get away with just working out the kinks on the go and not making it a proven feature before putting the feature on their App?

The newest version actually works pretty good. You should watch it though and it has a deadman switch so if you let your finger off the button it stops immediately.

Yeah I saw that Johnny but I guess my point is shouldnt it work 100% of the time before making it a feature on the App?
