The springs are the least of the problem, this sled vibrates so bad that it is gonna shake itself apart, iff you get a chance to ride one you will see, you feel it everywhere, in your hands, feet, its not a good thing. We rode the demo"s last fall and I was shocked how bad it was but we figured they would fix it by the time production rolled out and for the first few hours of the ride it was fine but then it started and just got more intense throughout the day, such a disappointment to me, for that reason alone I would not buy one as well as the many other issues which no one seems to wanna talk about on this forum, 23 k for this sled is a crime and I love Cat and own 2 of them now but looks like it will be a year or 2 for this guy.
Just put 2 days on an 858 and there was another 858 in the group. No more vibration than my 2019 Alpha. Maybe the 2019 was bad I never noticed lol. Also, saw lots of 858's in Revy, percentage wise a lot. Considering everyone says they have like zero market share, there sure was a crap ton of them on the hill, considering this is the first year. Only issue was I had was at low elevation the det sensor went off once on the way up the hill and I had to shut it off and restart it. Could have been bad fuel.

Good to hear. I was there a week ago and seen more than a handful also. I’m heading back tomorrow. Hopefully I get to see some in action in Revelstoke
I love Arctic cat! I was raised on Arctic cat. Currently on a gay doo. But always watching the cats.

Well, it didn't feel fat and heavy and slow like the only NA doo with us that finally hit a tree and had to cut the day short. So there's that. The turbo doo, we had, well it wasn't turbo snow and visibility sucked so we spent all day in the tight trees at low elevation, so it was awesome. Very happy, as was the other one with us.

Ok I will quit complaining about the vibration, I have only rode 7 of them that have vibrated considerably more than any of the sleds I have owned for the last 20 years, maybe all of the rest are good, its all of the other things too though, bogging, slippery boards, crappy pull rope location, seemed to always take 2 pulls to start, super expensive for a n/a, etc etc, but it did handle good! I can't wait for Muskoka:s next vid on the lightweight 175, now that is a sled!!!!!!

I love that fact that cat guys do nothing but pick apart POO/DOO sleds then get served an absolute POS and try to justify how great it is.

Im not sure if its just because lots of these riders havent ridden a skidoo or polaris. But my 858 vibrates so bad. Paul has ridden it a ton. Your feet and hands start to go numb. To me, that doesnt seem like a well engineered product. You can make scramble eggs by the time it gets to peak RPM and bogs constantly, even with the new flash. Time will tell, but i dont think they will last long with the bad harmonics and poor design.

That thing turned out pretty cool. I would love to see it as a 154 with a belt drive and jaws pipe to drop some more weight. It could probably use some ceramic coating as well on the turbine and turbine outlet to manage underhood temps.
