Maybe some guys are old & dont use the throttle

You know as an "old guy" I represent that completely! lol but in all reality your 100% correct I think the young guys today are riding the sleds exponentially harder than ever! The machines themselves are lighter and more powerful than ever..... something has to give. Maybe the accepted level of engineering today is no longer sufficient going forward!

With technology and proper engineering these days sleds get better every year and belts wearing out early can be a rider issue but bots shearing inside the main crankshaft, that is a definite engineering flaw.

Given the option of having the clutch grenade or carrying a couple extra belts, I know what I would choose.
Why are you brand bashing here? I was not knocking Doo just the decision of ridrs not going ahead and fixing the problem when it is an easy and cheap fix.

No kidding
Plus the bolt is not the issue, clutch bolt don’t hold clutches it’s the taper job.
The issue will be with the taper or the spider.
What is happening is the bolt is being over tighten by the clutch it self. Movement, leading to bolt breakage and because of this deficiencies the clutch is never properly seating thus coming lose after the bolt breaks

Unfortunately, all the boys and dad are hard core poo poo guys

But I think he's had enough, few engines replaced also cause of the clutch too
