175’s aren’t just terrain and condition specific! The riders profile is a huge factor! If you’re a guy that is younger and your crew is capable of bow ties and endless jump overs you’re not gunna have fun on a 175! I feel us older guys that are explorers and like to just blast up and over some tight steep stuff as a way to get to bigger open terrain without spending all day bashing a drainage to get there, then the 175 is the perfect ticket! Matt’s video has really rekindled my dream of lightening up my g5 175! I better be calling carbon sled quick! I think there is gunna be a spike in 175 skid demand!

even just changing that skid out is a huge weight savings. Skidoo skid is pretty heavy. Also a pretty price tag on the carbon sled skid

I had a 174 3” xm. 860bb. Had a ton of fun. As a spare Sled, they are a great idea for deep days. I miss mine.

Hard to tell the steepness in video sometimes but you just have to believe me that the stuff in the last video is gnarly.
Oh I believe ya! Stupid steep, far beyond what my abilities ever were! I'm talking more the average weekend shulbs from Camrose and Loyd not guys that could ride a deep freeze out of the toilet bowl! Lol
