Looks like the blue sled had clutch issues and the purple accent sled broke the drive shaft.
Had a buddy do thst at 1030pm heading off Area51. Thought he was taking a shortcut and had 5 guys behind him that followed him. I was in front and noticed them all missing at our next planned stop. They never showed. Went to the bridge and waited. Never showed. Went and slept in the truck for a couple hours and went back up the trail at 2am. Found them 3/4 of the way up the trail again at 3am. Anyone that knows that area knows that the trail in suckkkkks in March. Ice and massive whoops lol
We’ve had instances where BRP requests the BUD’s file and tells the dealer to send the whole motor back? Don’t even want it torn down? Fernie snow on the site was a good example of that.
that would suck if they demand the engine back and there's not another new engine locally to get it back up and running. even if brp ships a new one that's still a lot more down time and especially with current shipping issues.
If it’s in stock it’s 2 days to get one. Most dealers probably stock motors anyways. AActually takes much longer to get an answer on a case file than it does to get parts shipped. You can’t really talk to anyone in service anymore like the good ole days. Now you do Case files and someone will read it when they get around to it and respond. It’s painful…..
It is but still need a serial number and they still ask for the file for whatever reason.
