When he pulled up the picture of where they were going up ( the gulley) my first thought was “holy terrain trap, if you are in there and an avy comes down they won’t find your body until August”

The other "west coast" ...back of Gros Morne National Park ...still a very low snow year for us as well ... maybe 25-30% of usual and was late coming...last year / just about every year you could easily ride in May

Sure worked to get into there but it was beautiful and amazing up to top.

Maintenance program issues showed up again. They had a decent back country fix for it though.

i guess there is no snow left to slide on those avy paths but man that gives me the heebie jeebies. Rest of the zone looks fun

I will say that we wouldn’t go there without good avy conditions because yes it’s high exposure in valley bottom but everything had already slid so there was nothing overhead to come down.
