motocross riding gear

Just bought a 450 but haven't ridden a dirtbike since I was 12. I need a helmet, pants, boots, chest protector, etc.
What's good, what's not, and where do you get it?

All my sled gear is Klim and it's good...I'm from Calgary but I can shop on line.

Go to black foot in Calgary to try the fit before you order online. All I can say is don't cheap out on a helmet.

Make sure the helmet is DOT and SNELL apoved. I have used Thor, Fly , HJC helmet and they all fit good. If you buy boot make sure they are comfortable some of the cheaper ones are not, I like alpinestars. I like pant that will fit over your boots rather than have an elastic on the bottom

Going from a 12 year old, on Im guessing a mini bike to a 450 ,yup buy yourself some very good equipment and hang on LOL!

I just bought a new chest protector today. I must have tried on at least 30. I finally settled on a Fly 2 Convert. Good price-$165.
