I don't have a problem with getting out too early. If there isn't 30 cm in our driveway, there isn't enough to cover the big rocks on the trail on the way up. There may be enough snow up there but it is those rocks on the way up that can cause the major damage. They are big MoFo's and I have been there, done that, and got the ol' t-shirt.

I've only been here for 15 years and only ridden once before Remembrance Day. It is still early!

Snow falling, people getting out riding..... common sense says don't go.. surely you will bust an A arm or tweak a bulk head ... rip a track perhaps... Not going to lie.. I need support and encouragement to say no. I become a grumpy whining pleading mess of a woman early season.. My husband is the strong one... Knowing not alone... I made this today... we can do it.. we can just say NO..
If you have pics of carnage.. please post them.. as encouragement to all of us eager beavers out there.

Because I would rather spend my time riding instead of changing A-arms and other chit from early season mishaps......................and then it the dealer doesn't have the parts (as so often happens), well I'll just wait another week or so. No big deal.

Luckily we are going to Spokane for the snow show this weekend so we don't have to fight the temptation.
Maybe there will be enough snow to be safe next week.
