well thanks for the kind words. I'm going to try and get out to Boulder at least as it seems the easiest to meet up with someone to ride. I know I will have a steep learning curve but I'm up for the challenge. As to hotel's, it is what it is, as outdoors people are finding out about Revy apparently from all over the world according to my boarder friends. Hope to meet up lilduke as he seems to be a cool neutral guy!
Ha Ha it's lildukes fault everyone wants to go there to see this legend. You have to stop your threads bud, the area can't take the publicity.

In them hills.
You asked if Nelson was lower than Fernie not Revy lol

You were complaining that Nelson was low elevation, I figured maybe it was below sea level or something.

Ski resort summit is around 2000 meter ish.

Well I was giving it a college try and phone around Revy for rooms... Kind of a funny story. Years ago from 96-98 we were loyal to the Mountview so I thought I would call there. The gentlemen answered and discussed rates.. $75 for single & $85 for 2 people. That is a great rate however some of us may know the past condition of the place... So I asked the fella "just wondering if you have renovated and upgraded beds"... Very ok question I think to ask. His response "I don't think you would be happy here call another place" and hung up phone!! ...

friend I stayed their a two years ago, rooms were fine, they have renovated but in their own funky way. No two rooms were the same. But it was cheap and clean and one of the only places wth space during a RevyStuck.
