That is due to the logging operations plowing the road until Christmas time. They are logging owlhead heavy for a minimum two more years they say so expect it to be bad at Owlhead for a while. There is many othet ways to get up there and avoid the dirt.

The club needs a strategy to manage to 2.5km on Owlhead after logging finishes. It's ridiculous how icy it gets. Maybe the extra $50 on a seasons pass can fund a few grader trips and then a few sand truck trips to support an improved parking lot at 2.5km.

They don't seem to have one. The current GM thought they could ban logging! Think they got told where the door was.
