You are really good with numbers,Who do you think is going to have a better weekend,You on the couch with your calculator or me and my sled with barely enough snow to ride and all those big rocks out there waiting for us.............LOL!LMAO!......Lots of Xmas shows on the tube LOL!LMAO!

Eh Lyle, I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer on your first ride, I went out Nov 19th weekend and rode both days. I will be heading out to Tumbler this weekend, I'd like to say I'm careful but they call them landmines for a reason.

Where you're really going to notice it is when you get stuck, how much less of a workout. Definitely going to have a more agile riding style. You seem very excited and going to have a time, looking forward to the pictures. :d:beer:

Not from edmonton it`s not. Total time from edm to mcbride versus to valemount there would be about 15 min difference maximum.

66 km. from Junction of Hwy. 16 and Hwy. 5 to McBride, 19 km. from same Junction to Valemount. Certainly would not take an hour to travel the 47 km. (unless you drove like an oriental lady from Saskatchewan) but would be pretty tough to do it in 15 minutes dragging a 4 place enclosed trailer as well (would have to be going 188 km. per hour). I think the truth is somewhere between glengine and maxwell (given that glengine is from McBride and maxwell is a Valemount sympathizer).

I figured it usually takes me 30min and i thought it was about 22km from jct to vale so it'd be 44 to mcbride and 1/3 of 30 min is 20 minutes. But it's correct that it all depends on weather and road conditions.
