really wish they would have taken a video of after WE left that camp spot! it was spotless, yeah it was messy in this video, but that was also at 6 am, by 10 am there wasnt a peice of garbage or can or bottle anywhere to be found.

Nothing wrong with having a good party as long as the mess is cleaned up before you leave.

An old buddy of mine was out random camping and came across a hell of a mess that someone left behind. He's a bit of a hippie and was even more distrubed by it than most of us would be, so he picked through all the garbage until he found enough mail that he could be sure where the garbage originated from. He then cleaned up the entire mess, hauled it back to Edmonton, and opened the garbage bags all over the guy's lawn. Of course the douche threw a chit fit and threatened to call the police. My buddy urged him to go ahead so he could hand over the mail he had picked up along with pictures of the mess the guy left in the bush. ...so the azzhat just sat there and watched while my buddy finished spreading garbage on his lawn!

Frigg'n awesome!!!!

My family and I went to Brule for the first time last may long. We would ride down to the dunes earlier in the mornings while everyone else was sleeping off the night before. The garbage, cans, bottles and broken parts left behind was amazing!! Couldnt believe people had such disregard for the places they were riding in!! On a positive note, after filling the box of my commander 2 times with empties we found it almost paid for the fuel our machines used for the weekend!!

To be fair, if you came across one of our campsites after an evening before we wake up, it will look like a war zone with beer cans spread about. However, if you go back after we're gone, the site will be as clean or cleaner than the way we found it. Roll up at 8Am though, it won't seem that way.

Just something to think about.

x2 ...usually try not to leave empties lying around, but sometimes they don't get picked up until morning.

Messy campsites are fine( my kids leave toys all over the place) as long as its not left there.
Everything my wife and I collected was on the trails to and from the dunes as well as on the beach.

It's one thing to be such messy pigs in your camping area and it's another for some douche to come into your camping area pounding on your camper doors after a hard night of partying and forcing you out of bed to clean up your mess before you are ready to. I think this cop jumped the gun. I'd be telling him to go do his hat.

you have to remember... random camping isn't a right its a privlage... Im glad he did what he did... that guy is my new hero...

hey maybe these are part of the crew that had their trailer shot up and burned! Now while I don't condone that maybe I could understand how that "random" act happened. Or sadly maybe they tryed to tell the group to clean up...

could you imagine how many good family campers those guys probably scared off.... i only hope they got to the site first or they would have ruined a lot of good people's fun... NO respect these days... while your teaching your kids to clean up... respect is a huge one...

Good for you guys... then we wonder why our riding area's get closed... like every other good area... the general public will start to hike/walk in the area... complain about the mess and the roudy campers... blame the dirt bike guys... its always the dirt bike guys (NOT) and shut down the whole area... then we'll all sit here and complain about government and closed areas... its time every rider get involved in a riding clud to help maintain these areas and show "then general public" we actually respect the outdoor as much and probably more then they do...
