I've seen the exhaust burn through the radiator hoses too on a Maverik with rad relocate.

Then whoever did the rad relocate did a terrible job....
The enclosed royal does give off a lot of heat ... For sure . Though there is way worse issues on the 900/1000 rzr models , thus the recall and heat shields ...etc .

It never hurts to check your machine over for melted plastic after each wash , if you find some , there is a problem.

I took my skid plates after 3 weeks.

No grass or skeg inside. Just mud.

It does has a screen around front driveshaft to stop leaves from getting to the engine
