I agree if you consistently carry two people two up quads are useful and have there place but do not have the comfort or handling of a s x s when doubling.Once you go sxs you won't go back. Not so much if you are by your self all the time but if you double lots like me you never look back. I won't go back to doubling on a quad. You can buy aftermarket power steering kits pretty cheap

And doing it is way easier on the body.Depend's on the SXS ... The right SXS will go way way farther than a quad , in just about all terrain ....
I fact we can climb hills or climb out of mud holes you would never even try on a quad ...!

Quads are great for exploring unknown territory, in case you come to some real muddy/skeg crap, can still make it through, with sxs will probably turn around because you know it will sink pretty good, which means less exploring possibilities, been there, done that. Can get disappointing . That being said, if you are not into exploring foreign area's, sxs is great.
Another question for ya guys, if I put slip on's on it will I need a fuel controller? Don't have one on my 1000 outy with muzzy exhaust, been getting mixed answers on google lol
