we watched an episode that was filmed in Grande Cache, it is totally scripted and fake....they bounced from different locations and made like it was all sequential....

Every show is scripted, even that stupid cash cab crap is pre screened.

thats exactly what they do. We watched a mantracker behind the scenes once. Basically they reinact the chase.

But is the first chase authentic? .... or is it all pre-planned? (or scripted?)

Mantracker seems pathetic to me.
Give me a pro guide on the area like he has.
And my horse to ride, and i am sure i can chase down 2 people that are on foot, in 2 days every time.

I went to school with his nephew, in Longview then Black Diamond. I wouldn't say he is arrogant, but more just likes to be left alone...yeah I know not the business to be in if you want to be left alone..lol. Have a beer with him in the Longview bar and you'll see he's actually a pretty good guy.:d
