Apparently I need to start reading the snowmobile threads!

Nothing better than boating on a hot summer day!

so you get up on your surf board like you do your wakeboard then pull yourself up to the boat and toss the rope or what?

except your not even as close to being as far out as a wakeboard and instead of doing 22mph you only do about 12mph

and the best thing about surfing.......when you wipe out it doesnt hurt![/QUOTE

When your surfing, have you tried starting off from your swim grid? Put your forward foot a little farther ahead than usual, and put all your weight on it while hanging onto the rope. While your getting up to speed the wake will lift the back end of your board up, but if you keep your weigh forward your good to go. once your up to speed, slowly let yourself out. just the opposite when your done, you can actually get a ride in and stay relatively dry, nice if you're doing an evening ride :d

I have never tried to start off the back but showtime and his buddies will ride back in and get on the platform without getting wet. I can come close to doing it but then get too freaked out as I vision smashing my teeth on the platform....
