it would be understated to say this a very sad state of affairs! I have worked over the years with many Indian people and currently work with a guy from Fiji (which has a mostly Indian population). some have been practicing Muslim... some not. from what I've gathered this would be an embarrassment to them and perpetuating an extremist stereotype that a few have made for the many. I will say though, those "few" are quite scary and un-nerving!
