I have a 2008 M8 with exactly 6000 KM/3728 miles. Last night i put new plugs in, gapped properly. I cleaned my power valves. Fired it up it ran great, when i plugged my helmet into cord my lights went out on my sled, I unplugged it they cam back on, plugged it in and lights went out once more. tried again and had no trouble. I went for a burn it ran great got back and it had a poor idle. Went out this morning and my sled would not even start. about 8 pulls and all i got was a backfire. It finally started when i held throttle open but wont idle worth a ch!t. Could my stator have shorted out?
