M8 questions

Ive got a 2007 m8 and from the box that has the efi diagnostic sticker there is a hose that comes from it, any idea where it is supposed to go, or is it just a vent hose, just noticed it today, doesn't look like its ever been hooked up.

The hose is there to help the ecu compensate for changes in elevation. Just tuck the hose down out of the way and make sure it does not have a chance to hold moisture and freeze up.
