M8 2008 no spark

My m8 died on the trail , tried everything, looks like its not getting any spark. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks

check the wiring under the fuel tank,chafes and shorts out as well as the rear light where the wires go through the tunnel

If it didnt die but wouldn't start up after you turn it off it could be the ecu. 1/20 of the 08's didnt fireup after their first run.

I replaced the complete wiring harness died all the time. Let it sit for a day then it would start up no problem. Cost me a $1000 dollar chopper ride. Cat knows this has been a problem but dont like to tell people for some reason.

Could be an ECU failure, can you get it fire at all
