Just wondering if anyone has put a 174 under their cat yet. I'm going to be doing it next days off. Everything should be in and I'll be sure to post some pictures as it comes along.

That sled look sick!!!! I'm going with iceage rails, crracing tunnel, conquer 280. Also putting the zbroz adjustable bar delete and the bushings to get rid of the slop in the post. Already put the narrow front end on it last year and relocating the rear skid to the 17 location. Should be a beast when it's done.

Quick little update. The sled is coming along great. Just waiting for the rails. They should be in in a couple days but I'm back to work now for a week. I'll figure out how to post the pictures both before and after pictures. The zbroz( adjustable delete kit) and bushing kit from Canadian sled parts makes a huge difference on the slop issue. Should have done that a long time ago. Can't wait to get out on the snow. Going to be headed to valemount area March 8 to the 13th and will be looking for some one to tag along with if anyone is looking for someone to ride with. Will post again soon.

Is the motor stock on that 1000? still has enough power?
If your asking about mine then yes I it worked great on the stock motor. Worked even better after Linderman ported it.
I had mine on a stock engine and buddy had a 174 2.5” with porting and mine was better than his. Once he seen mine go he had a 3” next trip.

Mine is going to be stock. I have changed to a seven tooth driver and I'm hoping that will be geared down enough. Only have two trip left this year I can go so I'm sure it will work great. If I have to re-gear or do clutching I'll do it over the summer. I should have it finished Saturday morning and hopeful go for a little ride that afternoon. Then maybe a day trip to vale Sunday morning.

Re: M8 174. It’s finished.

Hey guys. I got it all done. I think it looks great. I’m having a problem putting the before and after pictures up. It said the files were to big. Any ideas on what I should be to post the pictures? I’m stumped. Thanks

If your uploading from your phone you should receive a message before attaching the picture, then it should ask you about file size, choose small, then your pics should load. Ran into that before.

Finely got it figured out. Sorry though about the rotation of them. It turned out awesome. Can’t wait for next week. Headed to Valemount if anyone is looking for someone to ride with.

Looks good. The only thing I would have done different is had the fuel can right behind the seat where it’s braced. You get a whooped out trail it’s hard on the tunnel having the fuel so far back.

Thanks I think it look pretty good too. I thought about that too. The jerry can is only on full on the ride in. I usually stash it once I get up top. I always dump it in the sled before the ride down. The tunnel bag stays on all the time and it gets heavy ( water, gloves, goggles, spare blet, lunch, tools). So I figured keep it close to the sit. And there’s some times I don’t carry the jerry can on short trips.

Arctic cat one from 2012. Not sure if they still make that one. I really like it hold a ton of stuff comes off easy if needed. But straps on Secure.
