new jugs and pistons means nothing , if you put an engine together with out measuring it your just asking it to explode . don't just look at it being loose , it could of course be to tight .
i have purchased bearings for engines and had the parts store give me one box of oversized bearings by accident , i have put bearings in engines and found one to already be undersized from the factory , there was an issue when it was originally assembled and it had different sized bearings on one journal . you always have to measure everything .
i also suggest egt gauge and a/f gauge on any two-stroke .
