I have a couple question about the controller on a 2012 I just picked up. Boondocker Hyjacker 2.0. Can someone tell me what the stock boost pressure is on these units at 2200'.
I have heard it is about 13psi?
Also what is the max boost you can run on premium at the same altitude?
And what is the max boost you can run without putting head studs in.
Was at about 17-18 Psi in Valemount on the weekend running 25% race 75% premium.

Thanks

I was told I don't need head studs in mine cause it be above 18 psi of boost but above that you would want them as for the rest of your questions I will find out this week just getting all my stuff installed right now .... call deano at mad motor sports I'm sure he can answer all your questions

2013 m1100 with head studs. Intake 2.5 in stright pipe. And have boondocker 2.0 installed. Seems no one can give me any true hp numbers. Was told it would make fifer rent power with different fuels but no one seems to know If anyone can answer i am thankful. If not it might be headed for the trash and off to white knuckle to get the Evo flash.

Bite the bullet and get the re flash, I did the 4 stage re flash and works way better then it ever did with the boondocker box.

I got mine re flashed for 200,220,240 and 260. Go any higher and you need to put head studs in. You can get re flashed for up to 310 plus I believe. Pretty sure 280 is the limit on the stock turbo. I ran it on 260 last weekend on premium 94 octane, det light didn't flash once. I sent my ecu to dons speed parts in wainwright and they re flashed it right there. Get the ecu back and all you have to do is install the det light strip and your horsepower switch.

If you are higher up like 7000 ft you won't get anymore than 220 hp with stock turbo. Biggest advantage with evo reflash is you won't be bouncing off the rev limiter all the time. Also changes timing. Boondocker box is not worth the money.

Good to go. Yeah I put the bikeman reflash in with their 3" exhaust. And clutching. Works really good.

ok so i spent much of the afternoon reading on which re flash to use. Bikeman has the 4 map set up , an Evo does as well, I know the Evo setup is for the hill, as for the bikeman set up Im not sure if its for the hills or lake dragging but I also read that evo is saying you cant get anymore the 235 hp out stock turbo, where bikeman is saying 260 hp on pump gas and 300 hp on race fuel. unsure as to what to believe, this is a question for JUSTBOOSTIT but it doesn't seem like he is the CAT GOD he seems to think he is, if he was, he would shine some light on this and set us in the right path, but who knows maybe JUSTBOSTIT has gave up on the cat world seeing he did do up a Yamaha for the Edmonton sled show guess he would rather have the heavier one out of the two but really who puts a Yamaha in an arctic cat booth in a sled show

Defiantly go with a re flash. I think both evo and bikeman products are good. I've been running a 2013 with a bikeman 200-260 tune, 3 inch exhaust, big intercooler, evo brv and cold air intake. Runs about 23-24 psi on the hill at 260 setting. Totally different sled than the '12 I had with a 2.0 BD.

All of EVO's testing and horsepower #'s come from elevation. The stock IHI turbo simply becomes inefficient after 18 lbs - and charge temps go through the roof. Retarding the timing helps somewhat. A good question to ask Bikeman is how they can get 260 hp on pump... Speedwerx can't with a reflash, either. The EVO big chute turbo kits run about 260hp on pump gas on the 1100T, and 280 on straight 100LL. I can tell you that no reflash works as well as the upgraded turbo kit - you truly have to ride one to appreciate this, instead of comparing "claimed" hp numbers.
For the record, Evolution Powersports comes from the same folks at Evolution Motorsports - well know for making supercars such as Ferrari's and Lamborghini's considerably faster. If it doesn't work - they don't sell it.

Have any of you guys used or know much about waste gate shims, I just picked up a second m1100 , it has waste gate shim do I take them out if so any one know how, Bikeman says the reflash @ 260 will not work with them in there only for 310hp us
