Lost key need help

I'm on holidays and lost my key it's a 09 m8. Is there a way to bypass the ignition? Pm me please don't have to post a reply on here thanks Shawn

For the really fast route , cut the wire behind the key.

Or take of the post plate find the plug and unplug

I was told either of these will work, i have serious issue with losing or locking keys where they shouldnt be

Great you found them but yeah in your tool kit you have a torx screwdriver open hood take off aluminum plate right in front of your steering post, 3 screws unplug brown/ yellow and pull cord

yeah cause this info is so secert. really if they want your sled they are going to take it, doesn't matter what you do to try and stop them

i think if you take the drivers side door lock to a locksmith they could have a key made up for you.
