Hi all. I'm looking to upgrade to a little bit newer sled. My girlfriends brother in law has an 06 rmk 600. I loved how well it handled but felt I wanted a little more power. I was thinking either a 700 or an 800 dragon. Just curious for the
guys that own one do you love it or hate it? Would a guy be further off to go with a 700 or an 800? Currently I'm riding a modded 1998 700 rmk and a modded 1997 800 ultra. I'm looking for something that will be a little more reliable. Thanks in advance.

Beware the Dragon (800) Mine had no issues with 3500 on it ( no fix kit), Some had new engines every 1000....

if you go dragon do not go 800. my dad bought his and it blew 500km after he bought it used. had to send it down to the states to a guy that makes aftermarket rod and ro drills the cam shaft bearing holes.

I'll second the stay away from dragon. To many problems. Can probably find a pro for around the price buddy^^ wants for his dragon.

What's your budget? There are some great deals to be had on newer sleds. So unless you are looking to only spend a couple of grand, I wouldn't go that far back.

The Dragon was a pretty heavy hoor If I remember. Although I went straight to the axys.....so no meaningful comparison.

I had an 09 M8 Sno Pro and loved the sled. That being said if you can find a 10 M8 i believe they changed to the "HO" version of the powerplant so you get some more HP.

Stay as far away as possible from Dragon's, you will do most of your riding on a tow rope.

I would think you could find some good deals on 12 Pro's as well.

I also had a dragon, went thru 3 motors in under 1500 miles, the last motor had less then 20 miles on it, should have just used it as a boat anchor!!!
