I was just wondering if there are any Canadian or US armforce veterans on S&M.
Sure would be nice to converse, maybe meet and ride (snowmobile) with some of my brothers.

If there are, i sure would like to setup a guided veterans ride in the near future if there are any interest.

Awesome, i also turning wrenches now. On heavy equipment though. Keeps the paycheque regular as a civilian LOL.
I did transfer some of my skills to our local SARs team in Vernon.
And i do have a guiding certification but it wasn't a regular paycheque....can't live on that.
We will try to make this ride happen, hoping for more guys or gals to pipe up.

There is 4 others I ride with local & in the mtns with that have all served time in the Forces. We've all worked together in one way or another over the years. They don't go on S&M much if at all. But they'd be in for a ride I can assure you.

You definitely don't need to be a member of this or any forum to join the ride. If they served they are welcomed
I'm compiling a small list and will eventually contact everyone on the list.
Being the time of the season now, i would expect that this ride will be in 2017. Though this will allow every one to make arrangements if they need too.
